GMG is a small school with a big family feel.  With an elementary school located in Marshall County and a secondary school in Tama County, GMG serves over 500 students PK-12.  With an emphasis on helping students become lifelong learners, GMG achieves this goal with small class sizes and a philosophy of continuous improvement, attempting to ensure all students get the individual attention and academic supports they need.

With a rich history of community and parental support, GMG provides a safe environment for student learning and opportunities for student achievement in fine arts, athletics and various clubs.  GMG is also committed to preparing students with 21st century skills, as evidenced by its 1:1 computer initiative and diversity of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) initiatives.  GMG remains a small school, with its roots embedded in traditional values of hard work, honesty, and caring.
