School Board attends IASB Professional Development
The GMG School Board attended a professional development activity sponsored
by the Iowa School Board Association. Their representative, Mr. Harry Heiligenthal lead the
meeting that focused on high achieving schools and District goal setting.
The March 15th meeting lasted about two hours and was very informative.

Join the GMG Board of Education in supporting "The Promise of Iowa"
GMG is a small school with a big family feel. With an elementary school located in Marshall County and a secondary school in Tama County, GMG serves over 500 students PK-12. With an emphasis on helping students become lifelong learners, GMG achieves this goal with small class sizes and a philosophy of continuous improvement, attempting to ensure all students get the individual attention and academic supports they need.
With a rich history of community and parental support, GMG provides a safe environment for student learning and opportunities for student achievement in fine arts, athletics and various clubs. GMG is also committed to preparing students with 21st century skills, as evidenced by its 1:1 computer initiative and diversity of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) initiatives. GMG remains a small school, with its roots embedded in traditional values of hard work, honesty, and caring.
